Fantasy Of Lights 5K Run / Walk, Nov. 21

Horse Camp In Coconut Creek, July 27-30

Tradewinds Horse Camp is open from July 27 to 30 at Tradewinds Park in Coconut Creek.
Kids who are between 9 and 16 years old can learn about breeds and anatomy of horses; appropriate riding equipment, tack and general care of horses in show rings and on the trails; nutrition and feeding; and horse health care.

Natural History Horseback Tour May 2

People 13 and older can take a horseback ride while learning about plants and animals at Tradewinds Park in Coconut Creek on May 2. The ride starts at 9 a.m. and costs $45 per person. Registration is accepted the morning of the event at the stables. For more information call 954-357-8720.



Reverse Triathlon May 16

The typical triathlon combination of swimming, cycling and running will be held in reverse order for the Reverse Triathlon on May 16 at Tradewinds Park in Coconut Creek. The event will start with a two-mile run, is followed by a 13.5-mile cycling ride and ends with a 300-yard swim.

Sunset Trail Ride April 1

One-hour guided horseback rides are being offered at sunset on April 1 at Tradewinds Park in Coconut Creek. People 9 and older, who are at least 52 inches tall, can participate. The ride starts at 6 p.m. and costs $30 per person. To register call 954-357-8720.
