The Danskin Triathlon Series made its first showing in Miami on May 31. More than 500 women participated.

 

The winner was Brazil’s Sandra Soldon but the other women in the top five were South Floridians.

 

“I thought it was impossible to see that many women in a triathlon,” Soldan told the Miami Herald. To read the Herald’s article click here.
