Neptune Society, which is based in Plantation and operates off Miami, is getting into the holiday spirit by partnering with the Marine Toys for Tots Foundation.
Neptune Society specializes in cremation services. All of its offices across the United States are participating in the program.
Dion Joannou, the company’s CEO, said in a statement, “We are thrilled to be participating in such a worthy program. I can’t think of a better way to utilize our offices this holiday season… Help us bring a smile to a child’s face by donating a new, unwrapped toy to our collection network.”
According to the statement, “The Neptune Memorial Reef, a unique, undersea tribute to life, is a re-creation of the legendary Lost City (and) is the largest and most enchanting man-made reef of its type in the world. Located off the Miami coast in 40 feet of crystal clear water, this environmentally friendly sanctuary is the first and only one in existence for those who prefer cremation, want to be memorialized and believe in preserving our planet’s resources.”
