Everglades National Park’s Ernest Coe Visitor Center is exhibiting nature photographs from Judd Patterson until Sept. 30.
Patterson works for the South Florida/Caribbean Network of the National Park Service and shoots nature photography to promote environmental education and for the sheer joy of being outside. He is highly motivated to capture images of threatened species and habitats in order to play a role in ensuring their future.
His photographs have been used for a variety of regional and national causes including The Nature Conservancy’s publications, Bear River Migratory Bird Refuge, Tallgrass Prairie National Preserve and a Department of the Interior Museum exhibit in Washington, D.C.
