The South Florida Paddleboard Championship Summer Series was launched on June 28 off Pompano Beach. The winner was Jake Portwood who finished in 40 minutes and 30 seconds. The second place stand-up paddleboarder was Packet Casey (40:37) and third place was taken by Roray Kam (40:48).

The second SUP race took place on July 19 off Sunny Isles and the third will be on Aug. 15 off Jupiter. The fourth and final race will happen on Sept. 20 off Pompano Beach.
