Florida Introduces Physical Activity & Nutrition To Youth is co-hosting Off Road Adventure with Down 2 Earth at Oleta River State Park in North Miami on July 19. The event kicks off with a 1.5-mile trail run followed by a 10-mile mountain bike leg and a three-mile run to the finish line.

“This will test ultimate sprint athletes while challenging beginners to push themselves to the limit,” said FLIPANY’s executive director Lynne Kunins.

People who don’t ride a mountain bike can compete in a 4.5-mile off-road run.

Proceeds of this event go to FLIPANY, a non-profit that provides free nutrition education to low-income families in South Florida.
