Fuerza Bruta’s run at the Adrienne Arsht Center for the Performing Arts of Miami-Dade County have been extended until Aug. 2 because of the high demand for tickets.
Organizers at the arts center describe the show, which has played in South America, Europe and in New York for one year, as “a non-stop collision of dynamic music, visceral emotion, and kinetic aerial imagery.”
With its intense physical action, the show has gained popularity among readers at SouthFloridaAdventures.com. Highlights of the show include Running Man, who sprints on a treadmill and bursts full speed through a series of moving walls, and women writhing in a clear pool suspended over the audience.
In its review of the show, The Miami Herald said: “Fuerza Bruta may mean Brute Force. But the show… is more surreal wonderland than bruising attack, a fabulously disorienting trip to a watery world where life rushes at you from all sides.”
