Need to give a gift for a birthday, holiday or whatever else?

The Sierra Club has launched a new “green gift” program in which people can sponsor a natural park in honor of a friend or family member. That person will then receive a certificate of protection and a cute stuffed animal that represents the national park being sponsored. For Everglades National Park, that means an alligator.

Sponsorships are also available for Giant Sequoia, Grand Canyon, Arctic National Wildlife Refuge, Yosemite, Yellowstone and Acadia national parks.
