Kulcha Shok parties
The Second annual Kulcha Shok photo contest has kicked off. Photographers can submit surfing images to Lance-O at lanceo@kulchashok.com. They must have the Kulcha Shok logo in them.
Kulcha Shok Muzik bills itself as “bringing reggae and surf-oriented events, productions, promotions & vibes to the masses.” The Miami Beach-based company produces radio programing, a TV show called Island Hoppers, music and more, all devoted to surfing.
It’s a lifestyle.
The company’s Dirty South showdown and surf contest is returning on December 5. Visit KulchaShok.com regularly as details develop.
And the surf parties continue. Reggae Sundays (aka “the Church”) are every Sunday at Jazid (1342 Washington Ave., Miami Beach), Third Thursdays have returned to Purdy Lounge (1811 Sunset Harbor Drive, Miami Beach) and Kulcha Shok is at Boston’s (40 S. Ocean Blvd., Delray Beach) every other Monday.
