“Beginner and veteran paddlers are already making their plans to participate in the always popular Kayak Against Cancer event benefiting the American Cancer Society,” the South Florida Sun Sentinel reports.

Organized by Kayuba Dive Club, the annual Fort Lauderdale event, which this year is being held on June 20, has raised more than $145,000.
