For absolute beginners as well as women who already fish, there will be plenty to learn at the “Ladies, Let’s Go Fishing!” saltwater fishing seminar in Fort Lauderdale from May 1 to 3. The classes and events will be held at the Ramada Inn, with Saturday outdoor-skill practice at the Marina Bay docks and Sunday fishing departing from the Radisson Bahia Mar.

Hosted by the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission and presented by Mercury Outboards, the weekend event emphasizes conservation and features classroom sessions, hands-on skill practice and an optional angling adventure.

Pre-registration is $125 and the cost for walk-ins is $145. Registration includes use of equipment, hands-on training, networking reception and silent auction, meals, goody bags and more. The Sunday Fishing Adventure, with tackle and bait provided, is additional.
