Fort Lauderdale-based Nekton Cruises is partnering with SingleDivers.com to sell niche travel packages.

According to Nekton, the alliance consists of joint marketing, promotions for dive shops and other groups to participate in “Single’s Weeks,” and other initiatives designed to get more people diving.

“We have enjoyed working with Nekton on our Valentine’s Special Single’s Week and we will be releasing our next Single’s Week this December for a very special ‘Stay Warm in Mona Island,’” said Kamala Shadduck, founder of SingleDivers.com.

The Mona Island package is open to dive shops, clubs and other groups for individual and group bookings. In a statement, the two companies said they are targeting “single and married-but-buddyless divers.”
